In addition to the valuable work done as Senior Resource Coordinator on Grand Manan and Whitehead Island with Charlotte County Seniors Resource Centre , Sharon Cossaboom has taken on another initiative to help the community! She is partnering with the Village of Grand Manan in the development of a Vulnerable Population Contact List. Along with healthcare providers, emergency response teams, and community organizations, work is being done to ensure the list is accurate, confidential and accessible only to authorized personnel. Please read more about this list and the goal of strengthening the safety net for vulnerable community members to build a more resilient and connected Grand Manan and Whitehead Island. May is Sexual Violence Awareness Month. As a part of the Charlotte County Abuse Prevention Network, The Willow Centre Sexual Violence Supports for Charlotte County is hosting their second annual Let’s Teal With It – Teal Day. Show support to survivors by wearing the color teal on May 30th. Attached is a poster and a letter to community members, businesses and organizations with ways to get involved.
